Privacy Policy

The short version: 720nm collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no in-app purchases. Your photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else.

Who we are

720nm ("the app") is a photo editor for infrared photography, published for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains exactly what the app does — and does not do — with your information.

Data we collect

None. The app has no analytics, no crash reporting SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party trackers. It does not ask for your name, email, or any account. It makes no network requests to our servers because there are no servers.

Your photos

Importing. When you add a photo, iOS's system picker hands the selected image to the app. Editing happens locally on your device using Apple's on-device image frameworks.
Exporting. When you save an edited image, the app asks iOS for permission to add photos to your library. This is "add-only" access: the app can save your export, but cannot read or browse your existing library through it.
Never uploaded. Photos, edits, and metadata stay on your device (and in your own iCloud, if you use Apple's Photos/iCloud). 720nm never transmits your images anywhere.

Photo metadata

720nm preserves the EXIF metadata, orientation, and color profile of your images so edits round-trip faithfully. Location (GPS) data is preserved by default, and you can choose to strip it when you export. All of this is handled locally; none of it is sent to us.

Purchases

720nm is a paid-up-front app: you pay once on the App Store and every feature is unlocked. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or trials. Any payment is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; we never see your payment details.

Children

The app is safe for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices ever change, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change with it. Because the app collects no data today, any future change would be described here before it ships.
